Michael Kunde, founder of Kunde Healthcare Services, Inc., has over 20 years of experience in the long term care industry. He is a nationally respected public speaker on the topics of fall prevention, seating and positioning, entrapment, and rehabilitation and orthopedic medicine. Michael has shared his expertise in these areas by consulting directly with medical staff and residents during hundreds of in-service presentations and trainings.

As a result of his direct experience with whom he serves, Michael has developed a number of products unique to the market which address the growing needs of fall prevention, entrapment, seating and positioning, and rehabilitation medicine. As the sole patent holder of the Halo Safety Ring, Michael has brought to market a product which meets and exceeds the federal guidelines established by the FDA and the Hospital Bed Safety Workgroup (HBSW) in their March 2006 report.

Michael Kunde is also available for public speaking engagements, in-service training and as an expert witness for litigation in the fields of entrapment, fall prevention and seating and positioning.
